What you will do with us
As an IT Security Manager, you will have a central role in driving, developing, and ensuring Green Cargo's IT security efforts. You will work both strategically and operatively and contribute to making security a natural part of our continued digital development.
Green Cargo is currently undergoing several major change initiatives, including cloud transformations, platform migrations, and implementation of new systems where the principle of Security by Design is an important part of the development.
In this role, you will, among other things:
Monitor the threat landscape and external environment and translate technical risks into business consequences
Develop and implement Green Cargo's IT security roadmap
Drive and develop IT security architecture for systems, networks, and cloud services
Ensure that appropriate protection, processes, and governance are in place
Take responsibility for IT security matters in the Architecture Board
Shape and update guidelines, policies, and security requirements
Train and educate the organization in IT security
Lead and coordinate management of IT security incidents
Take responsibility for governance and monitoring of the SOC provider and review of alerts and reports
Work closely with the business, IT teams, suppliers, and partners to ensure a high level of security
Your team and workplace
You will be part of the IT Operations unit, where areas such as IT Security, Cloud Operations, Change Management, and product ownership are brought together.
You will report to the Head of IT Operations and work very closely with Green Cargo's CISO. The role involves many points of contact both internally and externally, where you will become an important advisor and enabler for the business.
About you
We are looking for someone with a solid background in IT security who thrives in a role where you can combine strategic work with operational implementation.
You are structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented. At the same time, you have the ability to build trust, develop relationships, and communicate security matters in an educational way to different audiences.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
At least 10 years of experience in the IT security field
At least 5 years of experience in operational security roles
Experience from larger organizations with complex IT environments
Experience with cloud-based infrastructures, particularly Microsoft Azure
Experience with SaaS solutions, integrations, and outsourced deliveries
Academic education in IT or equivalent experience
Certification in information or IT security, such as CISSP
Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Swedish citizenship
Meritorious if you have experience in:
Transport or logistics industry
Military signals protection or military IT security
Public procurement and supplier management
System administration or network administration
