As IT and Security Coordinator, you'll have a key role in our organization. The position is relatively new, which means you won't be stepping into a ready-made template. Instead, you'll have the opportunity to shape the content, working methods, and development of the role together with the business. We're therefore looking for someone driven by building, improving, and developing – and who thrives when conditions change. About the role The role combines strategic development work with operational tasks in daily work. You'll be our coordinating force for IT, information, and security matters and serve as the link between the business, system providers, and Kalmar Municipality IT. An important part of the assignment is understanding the business's needs and translating them into working solutions. At us, you'll meet employees with different backgrounds and circumstances. Therefore, it's crucial that you can communicate just as easily with a system provider as with all employees at Kretslopp Sydost. You need to be able to speak the language of technology when needed – but above all, be able to make it understandable and relevant to the business. Your main responsibilities Coordinate and drive the organization's work in IT, information, and cybersecurity. Provide business-close support on IT systems, data management, and digital development. Work with risk analyses, security assessments, and incident management. Develop, implement, and follow up on policies, procedures, and guidelines. Serve as a contact person and client representative toward Kalmar Municipality IT and external providers. Build bridges between the business, system administrators, super users, and technical providers. Participate in procurements and ensure relevant IT and security requirements. Contribute to work on continuity and crisis preparedness. Plan and implement training and information initiatives on IT and security. Follow up on deviations and drive improvement work. Contribute to developing a more data-driven approach in the organization. Handle ongoing issues related to hardware, software, access rights, and digital tools. You report to the Head of Environment and Development and are located at Moskogen outside Kalmar. Who are you? We believe you have experience in IT, information security, or digital business development. But equally important is who you are as a person. Since the role is relatively new, you need to be comfortable taking initiative, creating structure, and finding ways forward on your own. You see possibilities where others see unclear situations and feel comfortable developing both working methods and responsibilities over time. At the same time, you have the ability to meet people where they are. You can explain complex matters in a simple way and build trust with managers, employees, and external partners alike. We're looking for someone who has Relevant post-secondary education in IT, information security, or equivalent experience. Experience working in IT, digitalization, information security, or related fields. Good understanding of GDPR, NIS2, and other relevant regulations. Knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems management, and digital business support. Ability to communicate with both technical specialists and business-close users. Class B driver's license. Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. We believe that you are Proactive and self-directed. Relationship-building and communicative.
