IT Manager for Gothenburg/Lidköping

We are now seeking a business-oriented and committed IT Manager who wants to take full responsibility for our IT function and be a strategic partner to the business. The position is located in Gothenburg or Lidköping and involves travel between our offices as needed. About the Role As IT Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies that support the company's overall goals and for leading and managing IT-related projects from start to finish. You are responsible for ensuring that all employees receive the technical support they need, that the business has access to the right IT support by coordinating, following up, and if necessary supplementing the work performed by external vendors, and if necessary managing IT security matters. As IT Manager, you will also ensure that the company's IT systems and data are secure, develop and be responsible for the IT budget. You report to the company's CEO and are part of the extended management group. The work tasks involve travel between our offices in Gothenburg, Lidköping, and if necessary Varberg. The role consists primarily of the following work tasks: · Develop and implement IT strategy, policies, and procedures in line with business objectives · Oversee, monitor, and develop the company's IT environment through collaborations with external vendors, with a focus on service quality, follow-up, and cost efficiency. · Ensure data security and compliance with statutory regulations and guidelines · Collaborate with other departments to identify needs and drive the implementation of IT solutions in close collaboration with system/process owners · Manage the IT department budget and ensure resources are used efficiently · Drive procurement, evaluation, and implementation of new systems and platforms · Lead initiatives in AI and automation from a digitalization, compliance, and architecture perspective · Support project, procurement, and sales organizations in requirements definition and assessments within IT, OT, and information security · Act as a bridge between technology and business, including dialogue with management and process owners This is a leadership role with a strong focus on governance, architecture, information and vendor management, and cross-functional initiatives, where operational IT delivery occurs in close collaboration with external IT partners. To succeed in the role, we believe you have: · Relevant academic education in IT or equivalent experience · At least 10 years of experience working in IT, of which 5 years in leadership roles · Experience with vendor management, procurement, and contracts · Strong leadership and communication skills with experience driving change initiatives and collaboration across functions · Broad understanding of IT environments, including infrastructure, cloud services, and information security, with the ability to translate this into governance, requirements definition, and delivery · Ability to work with system architecture and integrations from a holistic perspective · Experience translating cybersecurity requirements into practical and business-driven solutions · Structured and strategic, combined with high availability and collaboration skills in the organization · Ability to balance work through vendors with your own operational contribution · Experience with project management and budget responsibility · Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing We recognize that different backgrounds can contribute in different ways to the role, and you don't need to have experience in all areas, but it can be extra advantageous if you have some of the following: · Experience from engineering operations, manufacturing, or industrial production with project-based deliveries · Knowledge of IEC 62443 and experience with cybersecurity in industrial environments · Experience with system development in a governance or requirements definition role · Experience with automation, databases (SQL), and/or reporting in Power BI · Good experience with Microsoft 365 platform · Experience with ERP systems, QMS/DMS, and various CAD applications To thrive with us, we believe you are: · Curious with a strong ability to see wholes and connections between systems, processes, and organization · Strategic and analytical with a good understanding of practical implementation · Driven and proactive · Clear in communication to both technology and business · Organized and consistent in governance and follow-up What can we offer you?
