About the job The Swedish Tax Agency's information is predominantly electronic, which is why we're looking for someone with solid experience working with digital documents and digital preservation. You will participate in developing the Tax Agency's information management by conducting business analyses, developing procedures and regulations, designing and contributing to the implementation of automation solutions, and leading competency-building initiatives across various operational areas of the agency. You will work together with other IT archivists, business developers, business architects, and other archivists to ensure long-term digital preservation of information. You will participate in developing, quality-assuring, and improving procedures and processes for the agency's preservation systems, such as migration, disposal, and accessibility. You will analyze and transform existing work processes within information management and work on implementing automation solutions that help the Tax Agency become more efficient in its mission. You will set requirements for new and further development and conduct disposal and connection reviews of business systems and electronic documents and tasks for long-term preservation. You will work with change management and serve as an ambassador for modern information management throughout the organization. You see opportunities to develop work methods and processes and convert ideas into solutions that create value for the organization. You also drive issues forward with persistence and commitment, even when the work is complex and requires long-term perspective. You will be part of Documentation Management Section 1, which together with Documentation Management Section 2 is responsible for administrative governance and support in the field of information management at the Tax Agency. Our section has 13 colleagues across six offices. You will be placed in one of the locations where the documentation unit operates. Possible placement locations are specified under "Good to know." About you To do a good job and thrive at the Tax Agency, you need to be receptive, think innovatively, and take responsibility. In this job, you will: - independently plan and drive your work forward to achieve results - be good at collaborating and supporting others to reach common goals - have very strong analytical skills, which means you make well-informed decisions based on facts you've gathered before solving a task - see the bigger picture and recognize the importance of details while being able to make proper delimitations - act based on sound values and an ethical approach even in situations requiring difficult decisions - have good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written - be able to analyze information flows, see connections, and make decisions You must also have: - an academic degree in archival/information science, systems science, or an academic education of 180 higher education credits (120 credits) that the employer deems equivalent plus several years of current and relevant experience with: - strategic information management in a large organization - setting requirements for new and further development - conducting disposal and connection reviews - working with systems for long-term digital preservation and concepts and models for this - working with qualified archival matters in public operations that require good knowledge of applicable laws and regulations in the field It is desirable if you have current and relevant experience leading competency-building initiatives. The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period. Employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security vetting with record check under the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment.
