The assignment involves working as a special education teacher for our students within SFI, basic and upper secondary courses in our special education groups as well as in our upper secondary vocational education, Children and Leisure, within Medlearn. Your responsibilities Your role will be central in supporting and developing student learning. We welcome experience in adult education. You have solid insight into and knowledge of school governance documents and can apply them in your daily work. You have excellent didactic and pedagogical skills. You have experience with and genuine interest in school development work. You enjoy collaboration and value good relationships with students, colleagues, and our client. At the same time, you have a strong ability to drive your own work forward. We use digital tools and a modern learning platform for our students, which you are comfortable using. You will work closely with both students and teachers to create an inclusive and supportive environment where all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential. The role involves: Conducting pedagogical assessments and analyzing learning situations Assessing support and adaptation needs and testing compensatory aids Through consultations, observations, and guidance, supporting educators in their work to create accessible and inclusive instruction Providing pedagogical support to individual students Pedagogical documentation and other administration related to the assignment Developing learning environments at the school Supporting and participating in work with extra adaptations, teaching materials, and teaching methods based on student and group needs Planning and implementing professional development initiatives for colleagues Your profile We are seeking someone trained as a special education teacher with a completed degree and experience in adult education. Experience working with cognitive aids is a plus. You should also have knowledge of how disabilities affect learning situations and what support is needed in these contexts. As a person, you are independent and organized, which means you have the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. You are also flexible and adapt easily to changing circumstances, and you have strong collaboration skills. We place great importance on personal suitability for the position.
