Welcome with your expression of interest! Job Duties Our activities include preschool, after-school care, pre-primary class, primary school grades 1-9, and adapted primary school. Being a substitute with us means you may have the opportunity to test several different assignments within different activities depending on what interests you most. The job involves being asked with short notice (often the same morning) to replace regular staff when they are sick or need to be away. You can greatly influence your schedule by entering your available times in an app yourself. You then receive requests based on the times you have specified. Within preschool, you become an important part of the children's daily life. We offer you exciting and enjoyable work where you get to contribute to their learning and development. It is important that you focus on the children and are engaged with a strong sense of responsibility. Within primary school, you support both teachers and students throughout the school day. You may also have the opportunity to work as a substitute teacher and instruct our students using teaching materials and support from other teachers. You can also receive assignments as a resource in a classroom. As an hourly substitute with us, your assignment may look different depending on which unit you work at, but regular staff are always present to provide support. With established routines and pre-planned lessons as a starting point, we provide you with the best possible conditions regardless of which assignment you undertake. Qualifications To be considered as an hourly substitute in the Children and Education Department, you need: A complete upper secondary school diploma that you attach to your expression of interest. A valid extract from the Police's criminal record register, directed toward work in school and preschool. Note that the extract must be issued no earlier than July 15, 2026. At least one reference. Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written. The ability to work at least two days per week and to work at several of our preschools/schools in the municipality. We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting new people, is flexible and open to new challenges. You should have good teamwork skills and above all want to fill a very important function for our children and students! No one expects you to know everything, but as a substitute you must be attentive, dare to take initiative, and be able to take instructions.
