Expression of Interest – Patrol Car Driver | Security Officer & Ordnance Officer – Luleå/Boden Do you want a varied job where you make a difference – every day? Tempest Security is now looking for patrol car drivers for our operations in Luleå/Boden. We're looking for someone who is a trained security officer or ordnance officer and who enjoys independent, varied, and responsible work in the field. We are recruiting staff for both day and night work and welcome both those with long experience in the security industry as well as those who are newer to the profession. As a patrol car driver, you will be an important part of our operational activities. You represent Tempest with our customers and are often the first on the scene when something happens. The role therefore requires responsibility, judgment, and the ability to act professionally even in situations that can change quickly. We are looking for you who are a security officer or ordnance officer For this expression of interest, we are specifically looking for patrol car drivers with security officer training or ordnance officer training. You could for example be: Security Officer with complete VU1 + VU2 Ordnance Officer with valid authorization Security Officer or Ordnance Officer with previous experience of vehicle-based service Experienced security personnel who want to take the next step in a more varied and independent role What is most important to us is that you have the right training, the right attitude, and want to deliver security and safety with high quality. Please note: We only accept applications from those who have valid training certificates. For Security Officers, complete VU1 + VU2 is required. For Ordnance Officers, completed ordnance officer training and valid authorization is required. A role for you who likes variety As a patrol car driver, you work mainly in the field and encounter different types of situations and assignments. The work can include patrol activities, supervision of customer facilities, alarm responses, and other security-related operations. You therefore need to be comfortable with: Working independently and taking personal responsibility Being out and moving between different facilities Handling varying situations and tasks Having contact with customers and the public Working both preventively and in response to incidents Documenting and reporting completed operations Using digital systems and technical tools in daily work We are recruiting patrol car drivers for both day and night work, which provides opportunities for different types of working hours depending on operational needs and current assignments. We would like you to be: Responsible and thorough Independent but also a team player Service-oriented and professional Flexible and solution-oriented Confident in making your own decisions Stress-resistant and stable in pressured situations Comfortable communicating with customers, colleagues, and the public Experienced in report writing and digital documentation Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written Basic Requirements: Complete and valid Security Officer training, VU1 + VU2, or Completed Ordnance Officer training and valid authorization Class B driver's license No criminal record and drug-free Ordered finances Approved by the County Board for work at an authorized security company Good Swedish, both spoken and written Merits: It is particularly meritorious if you have: Previous experience with patrol and rapid response operations Experience with vehicle-based security services Experience with alarm responses and alarm handling Experience with CCTV and access control systems Good technical skills Completed GMU or equivalent military training Additional language skills Previous experience working as an ordnance officer or security officer in varying environments Why Tempest?
