About the Position We are seeking an experienced interim manager for a public sector client in Nyköping. The assignment involves overall responsibility for leading operations, ensuring continuity in daily work, and contributing to the organization's continued development. As an interim manager, you are responsible for operations, staff, and work environment, with a focus on operational management, collaboration, and organizational development. The role involves close cooperation with management and support functions as well as active work on work environment and rehabilitation issues. The position includes the following tasks: - Lead the daily operations of a unit consisting of approximately 12 employees - Build trust and confidence within the group during the initial phase of the assignment - Understand the organization's current structure, work methods, and governance - Manage and follow up on work environment risks - Work on work environment and rehabilitation issues - Provide ongoing and weekly reporting to the department manager and HR - Prioritize the unit's tasks and ensure functioning operations - Develop proposals for appropriate base staffing based on operational needs - Collaborate with the department manager regarding job requirements and recruitment materials for a permanent management solution - Provide support to operations on leadership and personnel matters - Contribute to structure, clarity, and stability in daily operations - Ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with established goals, priorities, and guidelines - Provide a brief written status report after 30 working days and an action plan after 60 days Assignment Period and Scope: The interim manager position is a full-time consulting assignment starting immediately and is expected to run through December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension. Work is performed primarily at the agency's facilities in Nyköping. Remote work is possible up to one day per week. Requirements for the Position: • Documented experience in a management role or clearly defined supervisory management assignment with responsibility for employees, work environment, and prioritization • Experience in entering unclear or strained operations and quickly creating structure, decisions, and follow-up • Ability to handle employee matters, performance issues, difficult conversations, and work environment risks within given parameters • Practical experience with systematic occupational health and safety management, risk assessments, psychosocial work environment, and collaboration with HR/occupational health services • Ability to be on-site in Nyköping at least four days per week • Understanding of public agency environment, rule of law, documentation, and formal decision-making procedures To proceed with your application, you must clearly demonstrate in your CV that all of the above requirements are met.
