Interim - Senior Project Manager at MP-Sec

About the Role This is a full-time consulting assignment for 6 months. You will be employed by Bravura and work as a consultant at MP-Sec. About the Company MP-Sec is a Swedish supplier in the defense and security sector with over 30 years of experience supporting government agencies and defense organizations with equipment, logistics, and technical services. Operations include delivery, maintenance, and further development of advanced systems as well as projects where technology, training, and logistics work together to ensure customers have the right equipment and competence available when needed. The position is based at MP-Sec's facility in Älvsjö, which serves as a hub for large parts of operational activities. Here, project managers, technical specialists, logisticians, workshop staff, and training functions work side by side to ensure customers receive proper support throughout the lifecycle, from planning and delivery to training, support, and maintenance. The environment is characterized by short decision paths, high technical standards, and a shared focus on delivering solutions that make a difference for Swedish defense and security capabilities. Responsibilities As a project manager, you are responsible for planning, leading, and following up on projects related to procurement and maintenance of defense equipment and technical systems. Projects vary in size and complexity, meaning you both manage smaller projects independently and lead larger projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders. The role involves close collaboration with FMV, the Swedish Armed Forces, and other agencies where understanding regulations, processes, and terminology is essential for driving projects forward efficiently. You have overall responsibility for projects from planning and execution through delivery and follow-up, with focus on schedule, budget, quality, and risk management. Business travel occurs, both within and outside Sweden. You will, among other things Lead projects for procurement and maintenance of defense equipment Responsible for project planning, budgeting, follow-up, and reporting Coordinate internal resources, consultants, and subcontractors Serve as primary contact with FMV, the Swedish Armed Forces, and other stakeholders Ensure project deliverables and associated documentation meet requirements and quality standards Qualifications, Experience, and Personal Attributes Minimum 5 years of project management experience Experience with FMV's work processes and terminology Experience from the defense industry or government-related defense operations Very strong command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written B-category driver's license Meriting factors include Experience with projects in procurement, integration, maintenance, or similar equipment-related operations Experience in program management or leading larger project teams Experience with mentoring or team leadership Technical education or engineering background Experience with Business Central We are looking for someone who thrives in an environment where structure, planning, and coordination are natural parts of daily work.
