Job Description
As an accounting manager, you are responsible for the ongoing accounting and ensuring that the business complies with applicable accounting principles, internal guidelines, and legal requirements. You work closely with the Finance Manager and have a central role in the finance function with varying tasks spanning the entire accounting process. We prefer that you are an interim consultant (self-employed) and can work full-time initially, but then part-time as needed for our client Hexagon.
In the role, you will work with, among other things:
Ongoing bookkeeping and accounting
Accounts receivable and accounts payable
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Year-end closing work and participation in the preparation of annual reports
Reporting and payment of taxes and fees
VAT reporting, Intrastat, and periodic consolidation
Group reporting and reporting of internal transactions
Booking of warranties
Archiving of accounting materials
Weekly sales reporting
Contact with authorities, internal stakeholders, and external partners

Qualifications and Characteristics
We are looking for someone with experience in qualified accounting work who thrives in a role with significant responsibility. You have a structured approach, good analytical skills, and are driven to deliver high quality.
To succeed in the role, we see that you have:
Experience working as an accounting manager or similar role
Strong knowledge of accounting and year-end closing work
Experience with VAT and tax reporting
Good system experience and experience with ERP systems, preferably Navision or similar
Very good knowledge of Excel and other Office packages
Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing
