We are seeking an experienced interim manager within Children and Youth Services for a consulting position in municipal social services.
In this role, you will be responsible for a Children and Youth Services operation with authority to exercise functions according to applicable legislation. You hold overall responsibility for personnel, work environment, operations, and budget, and work to ensure lawful case handling, quality, and goal achievement.
The operation is looking for a confident, stable, and present manager who can quickly build trust, establish structure and work order, and provide support to team members in daily operations.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
Has at least five years of experience as a manager within social services' Children and Youth Services authority functions
Has experience with personnel, budget, and operational responsibility
Has experience with both Children and Youth Services and family law
Has strong knowledge of the Social Services Act (SoL), Care of Young Persons Act (LVU), Parental Code, and other relevant legislation
Has experience collaborating with schools, healthcare services, police, and other stakeholders
Holds a degree in social work or other relevant higher education
Has documented management or leadership training
As a person, you are confident and clear in your leadership and experienced in making decisions in complex situations. You have the ability to lead through change, create structure and stability, and support and develop your team members.
About the Assignment
Start: By agreement
Assignment period: Initially 6 months
Scope: Full-time
Working hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00
Placement: Lysekil Municipality
Remote work: Some possibility for remote work by agreement
