On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking an Interim Unit Manager for Analysis and Innovation. The assignment is at 70% and is expected to start no later than September 7, 2026, and continue through January 31, 2027. About the Assignment We are now looking for an experienced Interim Unit Manager for Analysis & Innovation for an exciting assignment at a public organization. As Unit Manager for Analysis & Innovation, you will be responsible for leading a unit focused on statistics, data warehousing, advanced data analysis, and decision support. You will also have a key role in the organization's work to develop and explore the use of AI. The role involves close collaboration with both operations and IT, as well as active participation in the department's management group. Job Responsibilities In this role, you will, among other things: Lead and develop the Analysis & Innovation unit. Be responsible for operational planning, budget, results, and environmental monitoring. Have personnel and work environment responsibility. Drive operational development according to decided direction. Ensure internal governance, control, and risk management. Contribute to strategic work around AI and data-driven approaches. Work with team development and create good conditions for collaboration, communication, and a positive work culture. Collaborate with IT on AI development. We are looking for a consultant who is a confident and engaged leader with a strong ability to create structure, develop operations, and lead people through change. Start: no later than September 7, 2026 | End: January 31, 2027 (possibility of extension until April 30, 2027) | Scope: 70%, up to 20% remote when operations allow | Location: Sundsvall | Background Check: Yes About You We are looking for you who meet the following mandatory requirements: Experience from management and leadership assignments. Ability to work independently, structurally, and with drive. Good collaboration skills and responsive leadership. Very good communication skills in Swedish. Experience with analysis, decision support, data, or innovation work, preferably with a connection to AI. It is a merit if you have high or very high competence within the assignment's area.
