Intensive Care Nurse to ICU/HCU/Post-Op, Gällivare

The anesthesia/operating/intensive care department is part of the Division of Operating and Diagnostics, which consists of two units in the region: Sunderby Hospital and Gällivare Hospital. The ICU in Gällivare includes both intensive care and cardiac intensive care as well as post-operative care. Our four cornerstones are communication, respect, quality, and patient relations. We are looking for A licensed nurse with specialist education in intensive care or equivalent training with strong Swedish language skills. Experience in intensive care or anesthesia care is a merit. We place great importance on personal qualities. As a person, you are self-directed and take responsibility for your work while maintaining excellent teamwork skills and recognizing the value of collaborating with others. You are stable and calm under pressure and are flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances. What you will be working with At our ICU/HCU/post-op unit, the work is varied and educational, encompassing both nursing care and medical technology. Within intensive care, we handle acute care for patients with serious illness or injury. We also care for post-operative patients, trauma patients, and patients with failing vital functions. You will work closely with other professionals who together form a team with the patient and their family at the center. Work hours are scheduled for day, night, and weekend shifts by agreement. Start date by arrangement.
