Intensive Care/Anesthesia Nurse to ICU/IMU, Sollefteå

About the Operations The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Intermediate Care Unit (IMU) are part of the regional anesthesia, operating, and intensive care operations. We care for patients in need of intensive care as well as patients who are too ill to be cared for on a regular ward - IMU patients. We also staff the post-operative ward. On ICU/IMU, anesthesiologists, nurses, and nursing assistants work together in patient care. The nurse works in a team with a nursing assistant. As a new colleague joining us, you will receive individualized orientation with an experienced colleague. You have great opportunity to influence your schedule as we work with preference scheduling. Work hours are arranged in three shifts. We are now seeking an intensive care/anesthesia nurse for our team! The position is a permanent full-time employment with temporary placement at our ICU/IMU. Start date by agreement. Job Duties As a nurse with us, you will work with: Responsibility for patient care Monitoring vital parameters Medication management and implementation of prescribed treatment Assisting and preparing patients for examinations and treatments Collecting samples Handling medical-technical equipment safely Supporting, informing, and involving next of kin in patient care with an ethical approach Qualifications We are looking for you who: Are a licensed nurse with specialist education in ICU or anesthesia Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing It is meritorious if you: Have experience working in acute care Have previously worked on an intensive care unit Have additional language skills To succeed in this role, we believe you have these personal qualities: Maturity Flexibility Stability Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, Region Västernorrland is responsible for several operations that are most important for residents' ability to participate in society.
