About the Position
In your role as an Instrumentation Technician at Linde Gas, you will work from the air separation unit (ASU) in Stockvik and also service the carbon dioxide facility in Domsjö and the oxygen facility in Husum. The facilities are operated by a team of five people plus the plant manager – a wonderful team with a positive, open, and solution-oriented culture.
At our Air Separation Unit (ASU), we work with gas production where you will have an important role in ensuring the quality of our products. Your overall responsibilities are to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations and to work with control systems and instruments at our facilities. The work is independent and the organization is flat, so it's easy to contribute suggestions and ideas.
As an Instrumentation Technician, your main tasks will include:
• Planning and execution of maintenance, service, and changeovers at the facilities
• Calibration, troubleshooting, and validation of analytical instruments, probes, transmitters, and control valves, etc.
• Solving acute problems that may arise
• Planning and executing preventive maintenance, performing product analyses, and operating and participating in various projects
• In collaboration with the plant manager, establishing cost and investment budgets and planning purchases
• Contact with suppliers and contractors
The position of Instrumentation Technician is a permanent employment directly with our client Linde Gas, with start date by agreement. Work is performed on weekdays during daytime, and once you're settled in, on-call duty will be added. Work at other locations occurs, primarily during the day.
About You
We are looking for someone with relevant technical education for this position; an engineering degree is desirable and preferably in control systems & instrumentation, automation, process engineering, or similar. To succeed in this role, we see that you have experience working with control systems and instruments and have experience from the process industry, oil, or gas.
It is meritorious if you have worked with process technology, pressure/temperature/flow transmitters, control valves, analytical instruments, and/or programming of control systems, etc. Low-voltage electrical competence we see as a great plus, but it is not a requirement. Furthermore, you have a driver's license category B and good knowledge of Swedish and English, which is the group language.

We are looking for someone with great initiative who can plan and organize many different tasks and at the same time has an easy way of communicating and collaborating. To thrive in this role, it is important that you are self-reliant but at the same time want to grow and develop with us and see the flexibility in a small team as a given.
Important for the position:
• Relevant technical education, engineering degree is desirable and preferably in control systems & instrumentation, automation, process engineering, or similar.
• Experience working with control systems and instruments and experience from the process industry or oil & gas.
• Self-reliant and driven with a safety mindset
• Willingness to learn and develop
