As an instrument technician in the Maintenance Department within the Water and Wastewater Division, you will be part of a cohesive team consisting of Instrument Technicians, Electricians, and Automation Engineers. Here you will encounter preventive and independent work that includes troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of field-based instrument equipment of various types and manufacturers, as well as our computer-based instrument systems. New installation of instrument equipment and work with analysis instruments also occur. Preventive maintenance is also becoming an increasingly large part of our daily work. Your main tasks as an instrument technician are: Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and commissioning of process instruments Perform periodic inspections of process instruments, gas alarm equipment Ensure that operation and function are maintained for process instruments, gas alarm equipment Ensure that documentation is performed and maintained for process instruments and gas alarm equipment Your background: You have a degree as an Electrical Engineer or similar within electronics, control systems and electrical automation, and some years of experience from the process industry is desirable. You have knowledge of ABB PLC systems or equivalent systems, good computer skills with Microsoft Office products, since the computer is an important tool in our work. Since the work is characterized by teamwork, we require that you have orderliness and good teamwork skills. Working in the process industry places high demands on safety awareness, and therefore we also expect you to be a responsible person who always strives to improve your own and your colleagues' working environment. You communicate easily in Swedish both verbally and in writing. The position requires good computer skills and a Class B driving license is a requirement.
