Öknaskolan Tystberga, Nyköping About Us Öknaskolan has approximately 240 students, of which 160 live at the school's boarding facility. The school offers upper secondary level education in Natural Resource Management, Vocational Introduction, and Adapted Upper Secondary School focused on natural resources. Our goal is to provide the next generation of foresters with the best possible education. Öknaskolan is part of Region Sörmland. Your Responsibilities Öknaskolan's Natural Resource Management Upper Secondary program is looking for you to help establish and launch the forestry specialization at Öknaskolan. The first students will start in fall 2027. Until then, you will work on planning and practical preparation of practice areas and facilities, participate in equipment procurement, and assist in recruiting personnel for the forestry team. The position involves both practical and theoretical instruction in forestry subjects with a focus on forest machinery. Other subjects within the natural resource management program may also be relevant based on your experience and qualifications. We offer stimulating work where student focus is paramount. As a team member in the forestry unit, teachers and instructors plan instruction and work together, all with the aim of providing excellent conditions for student education. Your Qualifications Basic education in forestry or equivalent experience, preferably combined with further specialized education in the field. You enjoy working as an instructor and like working with young people. You have the ability to see connections between theory and practice.
