Instructor - Baby Swimming & Swim School (Part-Time)

Do you want to work in an organization where quality, safety, and development are at the center? We are now seeking new instructors for our growing baby swimming and swim school program in Årsta. With us, you will work with small groups (3-5 children per group), which provides the opportunity to build close relationships with families and maintain a high pedagogical standard. Our focus is on water familiarity, self-rescue, and water safety - always with the child's development at the center. This position suits you if you are confident, clear, and outgoing, with high social competence and a strong ability to meet people in different situations. You need to be comfortable working with groups and guiding both children and adults in a pedagogical and inspiring way. We welcome applicants from 18 years old and up, but we especially value older individuals with broad work experience. Previous experience in baby swimming or swim school is not required (though it is a merit), we will train you internally, but you need to be a competent swimmer and feel completely comfortable with children and babies. Currently, we are seeking instructors for our facility in Årsta, but as we expand, work at additional facilities or within other parts of the organization may become available. About the Position Part-time approximately 5–15 hours/week plus opportunity for substitute shifts Work hours scheduled during day, evening, and weekends (at least one weekend shift/week required) Operations run all days of the week (except Fridays) approximately 9:00 AM–7:00 PM Start immediately with introduction and training The employment begins with approximately 7 weeks of training/internship at 5-10 hours per week, after which you will conduct your own courses during weeks 43-51. Qualifications (Requirements) Complete secondary education Fluent Swedish (spoken) Good English skills (many customers are English-speaking) Competent swimmer (200 meters, including 50 meters on your back) Flexible and available to work days, evenings, and weekends Meritorious Own children or experience working with children (e.g., babysitting, preschool, sports) Experience as an instructor or leader in sports (preferably swimming) Own background in swimming or other sports Experience in administration, service, marketing, or similar Other We require a criminal record check and references from all employees.
