About the Role
As Installation Manager, you have a central and advisory role in the organization. You are responsible for design guidelines for plumbing, electrical, and control system installations and ensure that these are updated according to current regulatory and industry requirements.
You participate in construction projects within new construction, renovation, and major reconstruction – from early stages through design and production to final inspection. The role involves close collaboration with the project department where you contribute your installation expertise, participate in reviews, and help make decisions regarding technical solutions. You also participate in projects that the property management department manages on their own.
You belong to the operations unit and together with your colleagues, who also assist you in construction projects, you are responsible for maintaining and developing Signalisten's technical installations with a focus on long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and develop design guidelines within the installation field.
• Serve as technical expert during feasibility studies, design, and implementation.
• Participate in inspections, testing, and commissioning of projects.
• Actively contribute to the operations unit's development work.
Who You Are
We are looking for someone who is self-driven, structured, and responsible with strong technical expertise. You have the ability to handle multiple projects or assignments in parallel and make well-considered priorities. With your holistic perspective, you always act in the best interest of the organization and contribute to good cooperation with both colleagues and external parties.
We are looking for you who have:
• Higher education or vocational training in plumbing or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience as a designer or equivalent within plumbing.
• Good knowledge of BBR, AMA VVS & Kyla, and AMA EL.
• Basic knowledge in contract law and energy work.
• Driver's license (category B) and good skills in Swedish, spoken and written.
It is meriting if you have:
• Experience in designing multi-family residential buildings.
• Experience in public sector operations and public procurement (LOU).
• Knowledge of Miljöbyggnad (SGBC).
Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
