Main duties of the position
Receive information about criminal offences and other violations committed in the territory served by the Office, about persons who committed them, as well as about incidents (accidents, fires, etc.) that threaten the security of individuals, the public or the state;
Within the scope of competence, carry out and organize activities to detect and prevent criminal offences, as well as to search for persons who have committed them or are evading investigation and court proceedings, avoiding serving criminal sentences or are missing, and personally participate in the prevention, suppression and detection of criminal offences, less serious, serious and especially serious criminal offences;
As part of an operational team, travel to incident scenes to conduct preliminary investigation activities in case of a criminal offence;
Organize, direct and control the work of operational teams or subordinate additional forces at the scene of an incident, issue orders depending on the situation and available information.
Initiate departmental checks;
Within the scope of competence, consider submissions, complaints and suggestions from natural and legal persons.
Requirements for candidates:
compliance with the requirements specified in Articles 4 and 7 of the Service Career Law for officials with special service ranks in institutions of the Ministry of Interior and the Prison Administration;
first level professional higher education (subject areas of education: law, civil and military protection, transport services, business and administration, computer science, social and human sciences, humanities, teacher education and educational sciences, engineering and technology, information and communication sciences);
good skills in working with computer equipment (MS Word and MS Excel);
state language proficiency level – C1;
Category B driving license.
Candidates who have not previously served in institutions of the Ministry of Interior system or the Prison Administration will be required to complete a 3-month professional development education programme "Basics of Police Work for State Police Officials" at the State Police College.
