We announce a competition for the position of Inspector in the Healthcare Inspectorate Department Medical Institutions Control Division Inspector position profession code 2422 07 Civil service position for an indefinite period Position requirements: • Higher education in healthcare (physician, physician assistant, nurse); • At least one year of practical work experience in the healthcare sector; • Latvian language proficiency at an advanced level; • Good communication skills; • Category B driver's license, as job duties involve work travel using the institution's vehicle; • Compliance with the requirements of Article 7 of the State Civil Service Law. Main job responsibilities: • Conduct supervision in the healthcare sector, analyze healthcare processes, promote patient-centered safe and quality healthcare service delivery, review complaints and submissions, and provide responses within the institution's competence; • Advise clients on regulatory requirements, conduct inspections and controls, initiate and review administrative cases, and make decisions; • Participate in the preparation of reports on findings from inspections, thereby helping to improve the healthcare system as a whole.
