Occupational Safety and Health Inspector (Tertiary Sector)
The position involves performing the following activities: - Conducting workplace inspections and control activities, with a particular focus on occupational safety and health in accordance with Act No. 251/2005 Coll. on Labor Inspection and other applicable laws, with specialized attention to the tertiary sector; reviewing inspection results, imposing corrective measures to address identified deficiencies and setting deadlines for their removal, proposing risk mitigation measures, issuing on-site orders; investigating the causes and circumstances of workplace injuries; providing basic information and consulting services to employees and employers, particularly in the field of occupational safety and health; receiving and processing citizen reports regarding violations of labor law regulations, preparing information to complainants regarding the resolution process and investigation outcomes; performing expert methodological activities related to labor inspections. - Control activities are conducted on-site at the inspected entities and, when necessary, using an official vehicle which the inspector personally operates.
