Interior Carpenter / Specialist Carpenter Location: Staffanstorp Employment: Full-time Start: Immediately Salary: By agreement We are now looking for an interior carpenter/specialist carpenter with at least 10 years of experience and an exceptional eye for detail. We renovate and customize buses for Norwegian students, projects that place completely unique demands on creativity, precision, and solution-oriented craftsmanship. About the Position The work involves you: Renovating buses from the ground up—we empty each vehicle down to the chassis and rebuild everything from scratch. Framing walls, ceilings, and sometimes floors in an environment where nothing is standardized and where shapes, angles, and structures differ between each project. Preparing for electrical work, technical installations, and other equipment that will be integrated into the vehicle. Mounting sheet materials, creating custom solutions, and building tailored constructions that follow the bus's unique geometry. Once the foundation is laid, the work transitions to creating polished and well-thought-out interior details, furniture, panels, and other design components that make up a finished premium product. You build sofas, bars, panels, technical surfaces, and creative custom solutions—all with extremely high finish and focus on detail. This is the part of the work where your sense of craftsmanship really gets to shine. The work also includes renovations, upgrades, and improvements of buses we have previously built. You work around the vehicle's existing structure, and this requires you to be creative and solution-oriented. We are looking for a person who has an eye for detail, takes high responsibility, is solution-oriented, and is capable of meeting deadlines while delivering quality. You will: Work in a team of 2–4 people. Together with your team be responsible for entire projects. Ensure that quality, structure, and pace are maintained throughout the entire construction process. This suits you if you enjoy environments where genuine craftsmanship is appreciated and like taking on new challenges. Requirements At least 10 years of carpentry experience—you should be a master of your craft. Extreme thoroughness and high level of detail in everything you do. Very strong problem-solving ability in environments where carpentry normally doesn't occur. Good understanding of materials, construction, and adaptation in complex spaces. Ability to work independently and communicate well in a group. B-class driver's license. Swedish or English in speech and writing. Meritorious Experience We consider it highly meritorious if you have experience with: Vehicle interiors Boat interiors RV/Motorhome conversions Specialist carpentry or project-based construction Construction in tight or moving environments What We Offer The opportunity to work with unique projects where no two vehicles are alike.
