Since 2023, the group has been part of Grönskärsgruppen, and in 2025, ELMAB acquired a majority stake in Melin & Carlsson Hydraulic AB, an established hydraulic cylinder manufacturer with operations in Tranås and Borås. The acquisition strengthens the group's position and creates new opportunities for further growth. As the group grows, ELMAB is now seeking a procurement manager with strategic focus who wants to be part of developing a more coordinated, business-oriented, and forward-looking procurement function. The role entails group-wide responsibility and can be based in Tranås or Dala-Järna, with presence at both locations. Your Responsibilities As a procurement manager with strategic focus, you will have a key role in coordinating and developing procurement work within ELMAB Group. Your mission is to create structure, coordinate work methods, and ensure that the group works with the right suppliers, right prices, right quality, and right delivery times. You will have personnel responsibility for three procurement specialists: one employee in Dala-Järna and two in Tranås. The role requires mobile yet present leadership, where you create clarity, trust, and direction even when the team is located at different sites. An important part will be to get the companies to work more closely together and establish shared routines, priorities, and follow-up within procurement and ordering. The role includes conducting procurements, driving supplier negotiations, and conducting supplier audits. You actively work on developing the supplier base, following up on existing collaborations, and identifying new reputable suppliers who can contribute to the right quality, delivery reliability, and long-term competitiveness. The role is part of group management and you are expected to contribute with a clear procurement and business perspective on strategic matters. You need to be able to analyze facts, understand financial consequences, and drive decisions that strengthen the whole – not just the procurement function. This is a role for you who wants to combine strategy, analysis, and practical implementation. You are coming to an organization with high ambitions, strong industrial expertise, and a clear need for structure, negotiating power, and long-term supplier relationship management. Your Profile We are looking for someone with experience in strategic procurement work, preferably from industrial or technical operations. You are experienced in driving procurements, negotiating with suppliers, and working with supplier development, quality, and delivery reliability. You have an economic mindset and understand how procurement impacts both margins, production, and customer commitments. You have good Excel skills and are comfortable working with data, follow-up, and decision-making materials. Experience with Monitor is a merit. Since the role involves contacts with both Swedish and international suppliers, strong English language skills are required. You have experience leading, coordinating, or developing others and enjoy a leadership style where you need to create presence and clarity even at a distance. The role requires that you are flexible in your approach and can build trust in both Tranås and Dala-Järna. As a person, you are analytical, business-minded, and professional in your conduct. You are relationship-oriented, but not overly personal in negotiation situations – you understand mandates, business, and boundaries. You are curious about finding new solutions and suppliers, while being structured, driven, and clear in your priorities. To succeed in the role, you need to thrive in a growing group where the procurement function will develop in pace with larger volumes and higher demands. You need to be able to combine strategic perspective with operational presence, and have the ability to drive change in a way that creates security, structure, and results across the entire organization.
