Are you a service-oriented and organized person who wants to develop within purchasing and procurement? Do you want to be an important part of creating good business deals and contributing to Norrköping's development? Then you might be the person we're looking for!
Who are we?
The Department of Urban Development creates value for everyone who lives and works in Norrköping. With us, the entire urban development process comes together and every skill is important for us to reach our goals. Here you have the opportunity to develop while contributing to Norrköping growing in a sustainable way. Together we solve tricky challenges by being innovative and bold. Do you want to join us?
We are now looking for a purchasing and procurement assistant who wants to be part of our dedicated team in the procurement unit.
You will be part of our procurement unit, which consists of procurement specialists, contract controllers, a purchasing and procurement assistant, and a unit manager. Together we work to create a qualitative, business-focused and legally sound purchasing and procurement process that contributes to the development of the Department of Urban Development.
We are located in pleasant, recently renovated premises on Trädgårdsgatan, within walking distance to the city center and the travel center.
With us, you will be part of a positive work group where we value collaboration, development, and job satisfaction.
Your responsibilities
As a purchasing and procurement assistant, you have an important supporting function in the unit's daily work. You work closely with our procurement specialists and contract controllers and are responsible for administrative tasks throughout the purchasing and contract process.
The work includes, among other things, document registration, contract administration, document handling and file disclosure, conducting direct procurement, renewed competitive tendering, and call-offs from our framework agreements. You also support the operations with questions related to purchasing and contracts, and help with administration in our procurement and contract tools.
You will have ongoing contact with both internal operations and external suppliers.
The position offers a varied daily routine where you have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of public procurement and purchasing while contributing to our processes functioning efficiently and in a legally sound manner.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a degree from a vocational university with a focus on purchasing, procurement, or other higher education or vocational training that the employer deems equivalent.
It is a merit if you have knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU) and experience with administrative work. If you have worked in procurement, contract, or financial systems, we see that as positive.
As a person, you are service-oriented, responsible, and good at building positive relationships. You enjoy collaborating with others while being able to plan, organize, and drive your own work forward.
You have a thorough work approach and good administrative skills. Since you will be handling multiple parallel tasks, you need to be able to prioritize and adapt based on the operations' needs.
Furthermore, you have good skills in the Microsoft Office suite and curiosity about new systems, as well as a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
We welcome your application!
