About the Procurement Specialist Role
In this role, the main focus is on procurement and operational support to the business. When needed, you may also support improvement initiatives and system-related matters. You will become part of our production support team and work closely with production, suppliers, and internal functions. The role involves close collaboration with operations and you will report to the Head of Production Support.
The role includes tasks such as:
Managing the procurement process from needs analysis to ordering
Contributing to supplier development and cost optimization
Handling quotes and preparing agreements, follow-up, and procurement data
Collaboration with production and central functions
Assisting the business with improvement initiatives related to routines and working methods
Providing support on system-related matters and contributing to the development of internal system solutions with a focus on integrations, data management, and technical improvements.
You will be based at our office in Södertälje with occasional travel to our various regional offices, projects, and suppliers throughout the country.
Are You Our New Procurement Specialist?
To thrive in this role, it is important that you are organized, take responsibility, and have good collaboration skills. You are communicative, solution-oriented, and enjoy working in an environment where the pace can sometimes be fast.
We are looking for someone with the following experience and qualifications:
Relevant post-secondary education in procurement, logistics, engineering, IT, or equivalent work experience deemed equivalent
Experience from the construction or infrastructure industry, preferably within water and sewage
Experience with contract procurement and administration
Good knowledge of agreements and experience in interpreting and applying them in practice
Good computer skills and very good system understanding
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
B-class driver's license
