Operative Procurement Officer
We are seeking an employee for our procurement group at our headquarters in Karlstad.
Responsibilities:
In your role as a procurement officer, you will be responsible for purchasing parts of our Scandinavian assortment. As a procurement officer, you will also be responsible for:
Analyzing sales statistics.
Optimizing our purchases regarding volume and timing.
Optimizing inventory levels and ensuring delivery reliability.
Handling orders, order confirmations, invoices, and delivery tracking.
Collaborating with suppliers, our product development department, and our Scandinavian market companies.
As a procurement officer, you may also travel to our suppliers around the world.
Who Are You?
To succeed in this role, you need to be unpretentious and have good collaboration skills. You are someone who enjoys helping and assisting your colleagues.
We are looking for someone who:
Is analytical, enjoys numbers and handles them easily, and is structured with excellent computer skills. You are communicative, self-driven, and have a solution-oriented work approach.
The role involves contact with international suppliers, which means you need to speak and write fluent English. We see that you have a university education with a focus on natural sciences or economics; if you have studied logistics, that is an advantage.
Experience in procurement/logistics and knowledge of Power BI or Crystal Reports is advantageous but not required. You can also be a recent graduate as long as you are willing to learn.
