We are now seeking a driven and flexible purchasing manager for our headquarters in Lycksele. With us, you'll become an important part of a small company where your contribution is visible and makes a difference every day.
About the Company
Nordik Distribution in Lycksele is a Swedish distributor with three business segments and a clear ambition to develop all of them. We specialize in the sale of hunting and shooting products, outdoor products, and vehicle lighting to resellers on the domestic market. We offer a broad range of products that we constantly develop through new agencies and our own brands. The vast majority of our products are sourced from suppliers outside Sweden and the EU.
We currently have nine employees, seven of whom are based in Lycksele where we also have our warehouse and customer service.
About the Role
As a purchasing manager with us, you'll have a broad and varied position with a primary focus on purchasing and purchasing planning. We visit several international trade fairs annually—an excellent opportunity to meet our suppliers and stay informed about trends and news.
Your Main Responsibilities
Plan and organize purchases
Manage and optimize inventory levels
Monitor supplier agreements
Handle complaints against suppliers
Gather and register product information in our systems
Customer service and order reception
Participate in the team that develops Nordik's product range
Since we're a smaller company, you'll also handle other tasks shared with your colleagues.
Your Profile
We're looking for someone who is analytical and well-organized. You are thorough, responsible, and have a good understanding of economics that helps you make well-founded decisions.
You thrive in a role with many contact points and are communicative in both speech and writing, in both Swedish and English. Since the work involves close collaboration with suppliers, transporters, and customers, it's important that you are service-oriented and build relationships easily.
We see that you have good experience working in different systems and strong Excel skills.
As a person, you are flexible and unpretentious. You thrive in a smaller organization where you can take responsibility, help where needed, and be part of a team that supports one another.
It's a merit if you have experience in purchasing and purchasing planning as well as an understanding of logistics flows, including freight handling and customs clearance.
If you also have knowledge of our market and products, that's an advantage, as is a technical interest that can contribute to a better understanding of our range.
