We are currently seeking an operational procurement officer for a unit within the Operations Support Department. At FRA, every task is part of something larger. Your Assignment As an operational procurement officer, you are part of a unit within the Operations Support Department and are an important team member in the authority's centralized procurement process. We are a small, growing unit that purchases and procures materials and services for the entire authority. In your role as an operational procurement officer, you are responsible for executing orders through calls on existing framework agreements within your assigned categories and for direct procurement in accordance with applicable laws, decisions, routines, and guidelines. Through your work, you contribute to ensuring that the authority's needs for materials and services are met in a structured and efficient manner. To ensure a well-functioning procurement process, you handle incoming orders and needs from the operations. You are responsible for ensuring that purchase orders and order confirmations are correct, and you follow up on orders to ensure that deliveries occur as planned. The role is characterized by a structured approach where quality and accuracy are central to daily work. Beyond operational work, you are also expected to contribute to the unit's continued development. By actively participating in improvement initiatives and efficiency efforts, you help develop working methods and processes that strengthen procurement operations over time. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: Complete three-year upper secondary education At least three years of documented professional experience in procurement Good ability to navigate and work in procurement systems Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written We consider it a merit if you have: Experience with procurement in the public sector Experience with LOU (the Public Procurement Act) Experience with Unit4 Who You Are We place great importance on your personal qualities.
