Learn more on the website: Elicron Responsibilities As a procurement officer, you are responsible for executing call-off, project, and miscellaneous purchases and ensuring that deliveries are made on schedule through active delivery monitoring. You continuously work on requesting, reviewing, and evaluating quotations, negotiating terms, and selecting suppliers based on business and quality criteria before completing the purchase. The role involves close collaboration with quotation engineers, where you provide support both in the quotation phase toward the customer and in the next step once the order is placed by ensuring prices, lead times, and any updates related to ongoing customer or project matters. You are responsible for placing purchase orders, confirming orders, and following up on deliveries in the business system Monitor, as well as checking and approving supplier invoices, identifying deviations, and safeguarding the company's business interests. The role also includes approving and registering new suppliers and working in a structured manner with evaluation and quality assurance of suppliers within the categories you are responsible for. Sustainability is also an important part of the work. You enter into agreements with frequent suppliers and handle complaints, disputes, and warranty matters that arise from completed purchases. Procurement work is broad and can include both technical material and processing as well as indirect material and services, which requires good prioritization skills and a structured approach in a daily routine where needs can vary over time. Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities University degree or vocational training in a relevant field (procurement, logistics, economics, or engineering) Experience in operational procurement work, preferably from manufacturing industry Experience working in business systems (preferably Monitor) and managing the entire procurement flow from order to delivery Very strong communication skills in dialogue with both internal and external parties Strong knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form In this role, you need to be confident in taking responsibility for your area and driving procurement matters to completion. You communicate clearly and factually, follow up on what you promise, and enjoy collaborating with both colleagues and suppliers. You work in a structured manner, are careful with details such as prices, terms, and delivery times, and have a natural service focus when interacting with internal functions.
