Learn more on the website: Elicron Responsibilities In the role as procurement specialist, you are responsible for executing call-off, project, and miscellaneous purchases and ensure that deliveries occur according to plan through active delivery follow-up. You work continuously with requesting, reviewing, and evaluating quotations, negotiate terms, and select suppliers based on business and quality criteria before executing the purchase. The role involves close collaboration with quotation engineers, where you support both in the quotation stage toward the customer and in the next step when the order is placed by ensuring prices, lead times, and any updates related to ongoing customer or project matters. You are responsible for placing purchase orders, confirming orders, and following up on deliveries in the business system Monitor, as well as for reviewing and approving supplier invoices, identifying discrepancies, and safeguarding the company's business interests. The role also includes approving and registering new suppliers and working systematically with evaluation and quality assurance of suppliers within the categories you are responsible for. Sustainability is an important part of this work. You enter into agreements with frequent suppliers and handle complaints, disputes, and warranty matters that arise from completed purchases. Procurement work is broad and can include both technical materials and processing as well as indirect materials and services, which requires good prioritization ability and a structured approach in a day-to-day where needs can vary over time. Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities Bachelor's degree or equivalent vocational education in a relevant field (procurement, logistics, economics, or engineering) Experience with operational procurement work, preferably from manufacturing industry Familiarity with business systems (preferably Monitor) and managing the full procurement flow from order to delivery Very good communication skills in dialogue with both internal and external parties Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form In the role, you need to be confident in taking responsibility for your area and drive procurement matters through to completion. You communicate clearly and objectively, follow up on what you promise, and find it easy to collaborate with both colleagues and suppliers. You work in a structured manner, are thorough with details such as prices, terms, and delivery times, and have a natural service focus in dealing with internal functions. You thrive in a day-to-day where priorities can change and where the work requires both planning ahead and flexibility.
