What you will do The Procurement Department's mission is to ensure long-term sustainable and commercially competitive procurement of raw materials with the right quality and volume. Operations are conducted on global, volatile markets and require close and continuous dialogue with suppliers. In the role as a procurement specialist, you will be responsible for a number of important raw materials within animal feed, such as grains, soybean meal, industrial by-products from flour and sugar manufacturing, and vitamins. Procurement takes place from suppliers around the world. You will build and maintain good relationships with suppliers, conduct dialogue regarding contracts, deliveries and quality, and contribute to market analysis and deal execution, under the guidance of more senior colleagues in the team. In close collaboration with logistics and production functions, you will contribute to robust and cost-effective supply to the company's facilities, with good planning of flows and delivery times. This is a role where you will grow into responsibility over time, with excellent opportunities for development within the procurement function. What you need to succeed and thrive You have: Relevant academic education, for example in economics, agronomy, logistics or equivalent Interest in raw material markets and supplier contact — previous experience in procurement or trading is a merit but not a requirement Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Good knowledge of Excel and strong analytical skills You are: Analytical, curious and confident in building and maintaining good relationships with suppliers and collaborating well within the organization Structured and accustomed to engaging with complex issues It is a merit to have a background in logistics and planning, for example flow planning, transport or inventory management We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
