We are looking for a buyer who is driven, thorough and has good negotiation skills. You work proactively to ensure the best possible quality and see cost-effectiveness as a given in your work. As a buyer with us, you get to develop a new role at the company with a lot of responsibility. You will work closely with production, planning, warehouse and suppliers to ensure efficient flows and high delivery precision. We work a lot with new technology and are among the top tier in qualified die casting and post-processing. Our customers are mainly in the automotive industry and especially premium brands. Tasks and areas of responsibility: - You will be responsible for daily purchasing of: Raw materials, components for production and also consumables. - You will actively search for, evaluate and establish new suppliers in accordance with needs and strategy. - You will negotiate prices, terms and agreements - You will conduct supplier assessments - You will work with cost optimization and savings initiatives - You will support projects and investments with purchasing expertise - You will conduct market analyses and benchmarking - You will ensure that purchasing is carried out according to the company's guidelines and needs - You will work closely with production, engineering and administration based on process needs - You will work together with logistics to ensure that the flow of purchased goods follows the company's guidelines Meritorious experience includes: o Working with purchasing in the manufacturing industry o Experience with supplier contacts and delivery monitoring o Knowledge of forecasting and material planning Who are you?
