Are you motivated by making good deals, building long-term relationships, and ensuring quality and delivery within the procurement segment? We are now seeking several project procurement specialists for our construction operations at Peab in Örnsköldsvik and Sundsvall. Here you will have a key role in contributing business acumen and your procurement expertise to best support our construction projects. About the Role As a project procurement specialist, you work closely with site management and production, and drive the entire procurement process which includes planning, supplier assessments and selection, negotiation and follow-up, handling of deviations and contracts. The work is both operational and strategic, and your primary goal is to secure procurement at the lowest total cost including quality, service, logistics, delivery precision, and minimized risk exposure. Depending on the size of the projects, you work with one large project or several smaller projects, and in this work you have close collaboration with the calculation, production, and KMA functions within your team. As a project procurement specialist, you are also part of a network with other procurement professionals within construction in northern and southern Norrland, where experience sharing, information, and market monitoring are part of your professional development. Within the role there is also room to support projects with matters concerning project economics and contract issues if of interest. About You To succeed as a project procurement specialist, you should have an understanding of the industry and the construction process and how it progresses from the estimation phase to delivery. You either already work entirely or partially with procurement, or you are ready to transition into this field. You consider yourself structured, analytical, service-oriented, and communicative, and have an assumed educational background in procurement or construction. You have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, a valid driver's license, and good computer skills.
