At Aiab, you will get to contribute to ensuring reliable power supply in both society and business by developing, designing, and delivering customized systems for backup power, uninterruptible power, and DC solutions. So we are now looking for several new colleagues for the Engineering Department, where you will report to Engineering Manager Björn Henriksson and work in close collaboration not only with your engineering colleagues, but also with those in production, projects, procurement, and sales. We are looking for: Mechanical Design Engineer As a mechanical design engineer, you work to take ideas and customer needs all the way through to finished solutions. You work with mechanical designs, technical calculations, and documentation for production and quotations, often on parallel projects. The role also involves contributing to the development and improvement of our products as well as collaboration with both internal and external parties. Profile: Engineer in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience, plus experience in design, preferably from manufacturing industry, and familiarity with tools such as SolidWorks and technical calculations. Electrical Design Engineer As an electrical design engineer, you work with system design for backup power and energy solutions. You create circuit diagrams and documentation, lead your own technical projects, and ensure that requirements and quality are met. The role also involves participating in commissioning and providing technical expertise both internally and externally. Profile: Engineer in electrical power or similar, plus experience in electrical design and technical projects. Knowledge of E-plan or similar tools is an advantage. Automation Engineer As an automation engineer, you work primarily with programming and development of control systems. You are involved throughout the entire process – from idea and design to commissioning and optimization – and contribute to ensuring that our systems work efficiently and safely for customers. Profile: Relevant education in electrical engineering, automation, or computer science, or equivalent experience. Experience with PLC/HMI and industrial systems is required, and knowledge of Siemens systems is a merit.
