We are now looking for a systems engineer with experience in various types of weapon systems as well as ammunition, who wants to help drive ammunition surveillance work forward. About the Position As a systems engineer in ammunition surveillance, you have an important role in ensuring that the Swedish Armed Forces' ammunition is safe, reliable, and usable throughout its entire lifecycle. Through your work, you contribute to strengthening Sweden's defense capabilities. In this role, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on security-technical inspections and testing of ammunition. You work closely with the Swedish Armed Forces, FOI, and other parts of FMV, contributing technical expertise in ammunition surveillance. You follow the work throughout the entire process – from planning and sampling to analysis, documentation, and reporting. The work combines physically demanding, practical tasks with technical assessments. You become part of an experienced and competent team where collaboration, safety, and quality are in focus. Together, you work to develop and maintain the competence and capabilities needed to meet the Swedish Armed Forces' needs, both today and in the future. The position is located in Karlsborg. Travel is a natural part of the position. About You We are looking for someone with relevant post-secondary education or equivalent competence acquired in other ways that we deem equivalent. You have good ability to communicate in speech and writing in both Swedish and English, hold a class B driver's license, and possess good knowledge of the Office suite. It is meritorious if you have training within the Swedish Armed Forces, such as completed military service. It is also meritorious to have good knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' equipment and working methods. We would like to see training in ADR, AMRÖJ, FEX, or IFTEX. If you have forklift operator certification, we see that as an advantage. We also view positively if you have training and experience with different types of ammunition and weapon systems. It is also meritorious if you have experience with practical work with various ammunition types. To succeed in this role, we would like to see experience with risk management, risk analyses, and risk assessments. If you additionally have relevant experience from the defense sector as well as experience and good knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' IT system LIFT, that is a plus.
