About the Position Are you experienced in infrastructure and thrive in a technically advanced environment where you can combine operations, development, and problem-solving? We are now seeking a consultant for an exciting assignment with our client in Uppsala. The assignment is expected to start in mid-August and run through the end of the year, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs. Responsibilities In your role as a consultant, you will work closely with internal IT teams to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing environments in both local data centers and cloud-based platforms. You will be an important part of managing, developing, and modernizing the infrastructure. Work takes place on-site at the client's headquarters in central Uppsala. Duties • Administration and management of Windows Server environments • Management of servers, storage, Active Directory, and applications • Operations and administration of Linux environments (Ubuntu and Red Hat) • Infrastructure upgrades, patch management, and security hardening • Troubleshooting complex infrastructure, storage, and network-related issues • Creation of technical documentation and operational procedures • Collaboration with project teams and technical advisory services to the business Relevant Background • Substantial experience with Windows Server administration • Experience with server, storage, Active Directory, and application management • Experience with Linux environments, primarily Ubuntu and Red Hat • Good understanding of infrastructure, operations, and security • Experience troubleshooting network, storage, and server environments • Ability to document solutions and processes in a structured manner • Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English Desirable Experience • Infrastructure migrations • NetApp Storage • Nextcloud administration and migrations • Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure • Azure Blob Storage • Identity & Access Management (IAM) • Monitoring and hybrid cloud environments • Experience from regulated operations Personal Qualities To thrive and succeed in this role, we see that you are a self-driven and initiative-taking person who takes responsibility for your tasks and drives work forward.
