We're now recruiting an Information Strategist for the Strategy and Information Governance section within the Digitalization and Development Department (DUA).

The Strategy and Information Governance section is responsible for the strategic development of the agency's information management. Here you'll work alongside various specialist roles within information management. By combining different perspectives and expertise, you create conditions for coherent and long-term development of the agency's data and information.
The role involves many contact points, both within the Digitalization and Development Department, with other departments within the agency, and with external partners.
Key Responsibilities
As an Information Strategist, you're responsible for the strategic development of the agency's information management. Based on the agency's mission, goals, and long-term development needs, you monitor developments in the field and analyze how trends, regulations, and initiatives in the outside world affect the agency's conditions. By translating these insights into strategic choices and priorities, you help shape the agency's future direction in this area.
Your main tasks include
Drive and/or contribute to strategic initiatives related to information management.
Ensure that information management and information needs are integrated into the development of new digital solutions through close collaboration with architecture functions, product owners, and development teams.
Contribute to developing the agency's capabilities in information governance, information architecture, and data governance.
Produce analyses and decision-making materials within the information field.
Contribute to developing working methods and capabilities in information management.
Monitor developments in information governance, information management, digitalization, and relevant regulations.
Who Are You?
We're looking for someone with strong strategic drive who is motivated by developing operations through better information governance and information use. You have the ability to see the bigger picture and are accustomed to working in complex organizations where collaboration, anchoring, and change management are important aspects of the work.
As a person, you're analytical, proactive, and communicative. You're confident in driving issues forward and translating strategic needs into concrete working methods and development initiatives. You can explain complex relationships clearly and pedagogically and find it easy to build trusting relationships.
In our work as civil servants, we also have high demands for sound judgment and strong security and confidentiality awareness.
You have
Relevant university or college education (minimum 60 credits) in, for example, business development, informatics, information science, archive and information science, or other education combined with relevant work experience.
Several years of experience working with information governance, business development, information architecture, data governance, or similar strategic development areas.
Documented experience leading, driving, or contributing to strategic development work.
Experience driving change and development initiatives in larger organizations.
Very good communication skills and express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
It's a Bonus If You Have
Experience working in the public sector or other socially important activities.
Knowledge of legal requirements for information management, architecture work, or information security.
Experience working cross-functionally and creating collaboration between different areas of expertise.
Good understanding of information management from operational and organizational perspectives.
Experience working closely with information architecture, solution architecture, business architecture, or data governance.

Location: The position is based at one of the Swedish Migration Agency's main offices: Norrköping, Stockholm, or Gothenburg
Employment Type: Permanent employment with a six-month probationary period.
Start Date: By agreement.
Working Hours: Full-time, office hours.
Remote Work: Possibility of some remote work exists based on operational needs and conditions.
