About the role As an Information Security Specialist, you will work on client assignments to develop and strengthen organizations' information security practices. You will help our customers understand their risks, identify valuable assets, and translate requirements and regulations into concrete security measures. In this role, you will work with risk analyses, governance documents, continuity planning, and incident management. You may also support the implementation and development of information security management systems, conduct training, and follow up on the effectiveness of security measures. You will work closely with both business and technical teams, contributing to making information security understandable, relevant, and practical within the organization. What we're looking for Approximately three years of experience in information security, IT security, or related security work Experience with risk analyses and risk-based information security practices Experience with one or more relevant frameworks, standards, or regulations, such as ISO 27001, NIST, NIS2, DORA, GDPR, the Security Protection Act, or CIS Controls Strong understanding of governance, regulatory compliance, and business needs, with the ability to communicate security matters clearly and pedagogically Relevant education in IT/information security and/or relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or CompTIA Security+ It's particularly interesting if you have experience in one or more areas such as continuity planning, incident management, supplier risks, or information classification. We also view favorably experience with security assessments, maturity assessments, and monitoring of security work, or having developed and enhanced governance documents. Previous consulting experience is also a plus. No one knows everything, but we believe in sharing knowledge.
