What the role entails As an Information Security Specialist, you work as a consultant on assignments with customers in the defense industry and societally critical operations, where information security is crucial for business continuity. You drive and support accreditation work for IT systems and prepare risk assessments and decision-making documentation for operations. In the role, you ensure compliance with regulations such as KSF, ISD, PMFS, and customer-specific security frameworks. You participate in and lead reviews and consultations, working closely with architects, technical specialists, and the business. You also contribute to establishing and developing information security structures in complex environments with high demands. Since the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you must undergo and pass a security clearance with background checks. What we are looking for We are looking for someone who is confident in their expertise, takes responsibility for their deliverables, and thrives in the consultant role where you need to create structure even in unclear assignments. You are communicative, build trust over time, and can stand by your assessments in dialogue with the customer. You have a strong ability to translate requirements into practical documentation and thrive in environments where demands are high and quality is essential. You have education in a relevant field and several years of experience in information security. You have worked with risk management, compliance, and security requirements in complex IT environments and have a good understanding of frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or equivalent. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. It is a merit if you have experience with accreditation work within FMV, the Swedish Armed Forces, or similar organizations, as well as knowledge of KSF, ISD, PMFS, or SAAB's internal frameworks.
