Job Description As an information architect with us, you work with information management and governance, primarily in the form of information mapping and modeling. Depending on your expertise and interest, you will be able to work with, for example, development of Region Östergötland's master data management, implementation of information governance in the organization, develop methodology for information management and establishment of capabilities in this area. You will also be an employee who supports operations with information mapping, which is requested from many quarters. You work closely with other architects, primarily information architects and enterprise architects, as well as informaticians, development leaders and business representatives. You work in teams across IT, core operations and other support services, where collaboration and quality are guiding principles. Through your innovative thinking and attentiveness, you see what the organization needs and not just what is requested. Your knowledge and exploratory approach contribute to our journey toward becoming an even more data-driven organization. The position is located in Linköping but remote work options are available. Work Group The Business Area Data-Driven Development consists of approximately 80 employees with a main focus on driving and supporting the region's work on information management, monitoring and analysis, production development and digitalization in healthcare operations. The business area is divided into two units, and this position is placed in the Data and Analytics Unit. You will work in a team with enterprise architects, other information architects and health informaticians in an expansive phase, where your experience and specialist expertise will be an asset. About You We are looking for you who have relevant education in information architecture, for example through higher education or certification in information architecture, or equivalent acquired expertise. You have: • experience working with information architecture and information management • knowledge of information governance models such as DAMA-DMBOK • skills in modeling tools and notations (especially UML, BPMN and Archimate) • knowledge of modeling methodology, especially for concept and information modeling We are based on IASA Sweden's description of the information architect role. https://www.iasa.se/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Iasa-Sweden-Arkitektroller-2025.pdf It is meritorious if you have: • worked with information architecture in complex operations, such as government agencies or larger organizations, preferably within healthcare • experience implementing master data management in a larger organization • experience implementing information governance in a larger organization according to, for example, DAMA-DMBOK • experience working with international informatics standards such as openEHR, Snomed CT, FHIR and OMOP For this position, we are looking for you who are persistent and goal- and results-oriented, and who with drive and focus can lead the work forward even when changes bring new conditions. With your collaborative skills and pedagogical insight, you engage others, create understanding and make it easier for the organization to take on new ways of working. You have leadership that builds participation and engagement, while maintaining a clear overall perspective and making decisions based on what is best for the operations. Your creativity and specialist knowledge within information architecture enable you to both identify new solutions and implement them in practice – something that is absolutely crucial in our change work.
