The Digitalization and Development Department's mission is to drive the development of Migrationsverket's processes and capabilities through innovation and digitalization. The department works to increase efficiency and quality in operations through coordinated process management and business development, with and without IT components. The department also has responsibility for the authority's IT operations and infrastructure.
About the Job
As an information architect with us, you have an important role in building and further developing Migrationsverket's overall information architecture. You work both strategically and operationally to develop, create, and maintain the models needed to establish and support the target architecture. You contribute to ensuring that information is viewed as a strategic asset and structured in a way that strengthens both operations and the authority's legal responsibilities.
Examples of work tasks:
capture and coordinate needs for mapping information volumes within various operational areas and development initiatives,
develop and maintain information models for current and future states that guide development toward the decided target architecture,
take long-term responsibility for ensuring that Migrationsverket's core information architecture and information models are developed and maintained according to applicable standards,
ensure that information models are used in business development and provide support to development initiatives in practical application,
educate and guide roles in development work who need to understand and use the information models,
conduct investigations and prepare analytical decision-making materials,
collaborate within the architecture function and with other architecture roles to ensure a coherent architecture.
The position is placed in the section for strategy and information governance and is an important part of the authority's virtual architecture function. The function is led by two principal architects and consists of several different architecture roles. The role involves many contact points, both within DUA, with other departments, and with external collaboration partners.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone driven by understanding, analyzing, and structuring large and complex information volumes. You have strong analytical skills and can see the big picture without losing sight of details in the information structure.
You are collaboration-oriented and have a natural ability to lead and coordinate work. At the same time, you are pedagogical and communicative, with the ability to explain complex relationships to different audiences, both verbally and in writing. You are unpretentious, create engagement around you, and contribute to participation and progress in the organization.
In the role of civil servant, high demands are placed on judgment as well as security and confidentiality awareness. We place great importance on your personal qualities and your suitability for the position.
We are looking for someone who has:
relevant university or college education, at least 120 credits, in, for example, data/computer science, informatics, engineering, or other education in combination with relevant work experience,
several years of experience working with information and/or business architecture,
documented experience with information, concept, and/or data modeling, such as ArchiMate, UML, IRM, or similar,
experience working with EA tools, such as Sparx EA, Aris Connect, or similar,
good understanding of requirements for information management from legal, operational, and digitalization perspectives,
good communication skills and ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
It is advantageous if you have:
certification as an information architect or business architect,
experience establishing target architecture in large and complex organizations,
experience with architectural frameworks, such as TOGAF.
Terms of Employment
Location: Gothenburg, Stockholm, or Norrköping.
Employment type: Permanent position with a six-month probationary period.
Start date: By agreement.
Working hours: Full-time, office hours.
Remote work: The possibility for some remote work exists based on operational needs and conditions.
Salary: Individual salary setting is applied based on responsibility, competence, experience, and performance.
