Systematic information quality work is a function tasked with ensuring that the Migration Board's information in the central foreign national database (CUD) is accurate. The function is located within the Information Management Unit and consists of information management as well as information and data quality experts. We are now seeking to strengthen our team with additional information and data quality experts. Read more about what it's like to work with IT at our organization here: About the Migration Board - Work with IT What does an information and data quality expert do for us? The assignment is to work together with colleagues and sometimes independently to identify and implement the measures necessary to improve information quality in CUD—that is, to ensure that database registrations reflect the essence of decisions made, the development of events in our cases, and enable statistical presentation of this information. This means you will work on various tasks: Lead and conduct major correction work on incorrect information. Analyze root causes of error sources and propose measures for other parts of the agency. Participate in the Digitalization and Development Department's (DUA) development work from an information quality perspective. Identify and help develop data sets when other parts of the agency work on correction efforts. Work on quality assuring data sets when there is a need from other parts of DUA. Conduct corrections in complex cases. Contribute your expertise on information quality issues to various parts of the organization. Who are you? You are a good representative of the Migration Board and DUA. You have a respectful and unpretentious approach and demeanor both internally and externally. The role will place high demands on your analytical abilities and capacity to see and structure complex contexts. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work independently in an efficient manner and set and maintain timelines. Furthermore, you are thorough and well aware of objectives and quality, placing great emphasis on meeting these requirements. You actively participate in our improvement efforts and demonstrate engagement and flexibility toward our mission and your work tasks. You have good collaboration skills and value working in an environment where we work together to accomplish our tasks and assignments. An important quality is the willingness and ability to share your expertise. You who are applying have Academic education (at least 120 credits) in a relevant field or other education in combination with work experience that the employer deems relevant for the position Current experience with administrative law case management. Experience troubleshooting registrations within case management. It is meritorious if you have Knowledge of the connections between the Migration Board's case management and how it is expressed as data/information in the central foreign national database. Experience and interest in training the organization in this field. Experience identifying and formulating development needs within public sector operations. Many years of experience with the Migration Board's case management. In-depth knowledge of registrations in one or more of the following areas: The permit process Residence permit decisions on various grounds and revocation of permits. The citizenship process Compensation/benefits. Information Placement location: Norrköping or Linköping Position: Permanent employment (six-month probation period may apply). Start date: By agreement.
