The State Chancellery announces a competition for a vacant Systems Administrator position in the Human Resources Policy Department for an indefinite period. Main responsibilities: ensure planning and implementation of the Human Resources unified management system development; ensure administration, maintenance, secure operation, and further development of information technology infrastructure, integration, databases, and data exchange solutions related to the Human Resources unified management system; ensure user support for the Human Resources unified management systems. Position requirements and necessary knowledge: higher academic or second-level higher professional education in computer science, engineering, or information technology (preferably a master's degree); at least three years of work experience in information and communication technology related to systems administration, system maintenance, support, and development; experience in developing technical documentation for information systems, performing, documenting, and analyzing system change requests; experience in systems administration (preferably in resource management or human resources), user and security management; experience in ensuring and managing system integrations with external systems; experience in information systems maintenance and development, defining potential development directions within existing financial and resource frameworks; desired experience in organizing procurement processes; knowledge of database solutions and management languages (SQL) and computer systems and computer network maintenance; knowledge of risk management related to information systems development and implementation, maintenance, and use; practical knowledge of information technology industry standards and industry regulations (e.g., security, usability, etc.); excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills; ability to solve problematic situations, anticipate consequences, and find appropriate solutions; English language knowledge at least B2 level in accordance with the European Framework of Reference for Languages: https://europass.cedefop.europa.eu/en/resources/european-language-levels-cefr We offer candidates: responsible work in a leading state administration institution, with the opportunity to promote and implement changes in state administration processes; a professional, responsive, and friendly team of colleagues and the opportunity to collaborate with representatives of other institutions both in Latvia and internationally; professional development opportunities; monthly salary from 2526 to 3141 EUR before taxes; additional payments according to regulations in state administration; social guarantees (benefits, compensation, and health insurance).
