Industrial Mechanic for Our Maintenance Department We are now seeking an Industrial Mechanic for our maintenance department at Rikstvätt in Bengtsfors. We are looking for someone with experience in mechanical maintenance in industry who can work independently with troubleshooting, service, and repairs. In your role as a mechanic, you will work with preventive maintenance, service, and repair of our machines and other production equipment. Our facility consists of, among other things, washing machines, industrial washing machines, mangles, folding machines, drying equipment, steam boilers, and systems for water treatment and water recycling. The work encompasses everything from bearings, rollers, pumps, and transmissions to hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial water and steam systems. In this role, you will troubleshoot mechanical faults and address problems and operational disruptions that arise in production. You will also assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment and participate in work to improve our machines and work methods. We plan and document our work in the maintenance system MaintMaster. This role suits you if you are a versatile mechanic who enjoys varied and practical tasks. Through your work, you contribute to ensuring safe, secure, and efficient production. The work is varied and involves close collaboration with production and other functions within the company. We are looking for someone who is practical, innovative, self-driven, and solution-oriented. The role requires that you work carefully and with quality awareness and have a clear safety mindset. As a person, you are flexible and stress-resilient, with good collaboration and communication skills. Through your work, you contribute to preventing downtime and ensuring that our facility maintains high safety and quality standards. We are looking for someone who Has secondary education in industry, mechanics, or equivalent competence acquired through work experience. Has experience in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, service, and repairs in industry. Has welding skills. Can work independently and take responsibility for driving work tasks from troubleshooting to completed resolution. Has a class B driver's license. Speaks and writes Swedish fluently. Has sufficient English language skills to understand technical documentation. Has the ability to work shifts and be on call when needed. It is a plus if you have Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial water and steam systems. Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair of rollers, bearings, pumps, and pipe systems. Experience with welding and pipe work in industrial water and steam systems. Experience with forklift and lift operation, preferably with valid certifications. Certificate for Hot Work. Good computer skills. Experience with maintenance systems, preferably MaintMaster.
