About the Position Would you like to work in a technically advanced and highly automated industrial environment where problem-solving, automation, and maintenance are in focus? We are now seeking an industrial electrician/automation technician for Clas Ohlson's distribution center in Insjön. Here you will become part of a dedicated maintenance team and work in a modern logistics facility with a fully automated pallet crane storage system, miniload system, conveyor systems, and advanced automation solutions. The role is varied and combines both corrective and preventive maintenance. This is a position for you if you enjoy troubleshooting, understanding how things work, and finding solutions when technology doesn't perform as it should. You will work both independently and together with mechanics and other colleagues in the maintenance team to keep the facility running and contribute to high operational reliability. Key Responsibilities · Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on automated systems and production equipment · Troubleshoot and work with PLCs, control systems, sensors, motors, and industrial electrical components · Conduct electrical and technical troubleshooting · Participate in planning and developing maintenance work together with the team · Collaborate with mechanics and other functions to ensure high operational reliability · Actively work on improvements, documentation, and maintenance systems Location: Insjön Scope: Full-time Working Hours: Rotating three-week schedule with day and evening shifts – with nine days off per three-week period. About You You are a solution-oriented person with strong technical interest and thrive in a role where you can work practically with troubleshooting and maintenance. You enjoy understanding why an error occurred and finding the solution that gets the facility running smoothly again. For success in this role, we believe you are structured, proactive, and good at collaborating with others. At the same time, you are self-driven and confident in prioritizing and making decisions when the situation requires it. You currently work as, for example, an industrial electrician, automation technician, maintenance electrician, or service technician within industry or other automated operations. You don't need to know everything from day one – what matters most is that you have a solid technical foundation, are curious, and want to continue developing. Qualifications · Experience in industrial electrical work, automation, or maintenance · Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, and industrial electrical installations · Experience with technical troubleshooting as well as preventive and corrective maintenance · Good understanding of electrical schematics, blueprint reading, and technical documentation · Strong proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written · Driver's license (category B) Meritorious · Experience from highly automated production or logistics facilities · Knowledge of PLC programming and automation · Knowledge of frequency converters, motor control, and industrial sensors · Mechanical knowledge and experience supporting mechanical maintenance · Forklift certification or experience working at heights We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
