Job description: About the role We are looking for you to lead one or more cross-functional project teams with representatives from engineering, production, maintenance, logistics, and quality. In this role, you are responsible for maintaining control over the project's scope, schedule, and budget, while actively managing activities and risks. You build engagement and ownership in the team to ensure that project goals are achieved, and you define clear milestones and follow-up points to continuously monitor the project's progress. You will also prioritize, delegate, and follow up on tasks within the project team to minimize risks and ensure deliverables, as well as communicate and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders. An important part of the role is reporting the project's progress and status to the steering committee and ensuring that projects are implemented according to plan, on time, at the right cost, and with world-class quality. Your future team At Volvo Group Trucks Operations in Köping, transmissions are processed and assembled for trucks and heavy construction machinery for several of the group's business areas. The facility is a transmission center and an important part of our continued journey toward world-leading, sustainable transport solutions. Your assignment At Volvo Group Trucks Operations in Köping, transmissions are processed and assembled for trucks and heavy construction machinery for several of the group's business areas. Who are you? To succeed in this role, we see that you have the ability to combine strategic thinking with operational execution, a strong sense of responsibility, and a structured and results-oriented work approach. You have good communication skills and experience working with different stakeholders, as well as experience leading and motivating teams in a technical environment. Additionally, you have a natural drive to improve and streamline processes. We would like to see that you have: • A degree in civil or technical engineering, or equivalent work experience. • Experience in technical processing and/or assembly within industry. • Experience in project management and working with external suppliers. • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. • Good data skills and experience working with project management tools.
