Would you like to work with ILS, material information, and lifecycle management within the defense sector? At Combitech in Arboga, you'll combine engineering, administrative tasks, data management, and information handling in projects for the Swedish Armed Forces and FMV, helping ensure that critical systems function effectively throughout their lifecycle. Your role as ILS Engineer - Registration and Data Management In this role, you'll work on projects for the Swedish Armed Forces and FMV, contributing to ensuring that technical systems can be maintained and used efficiently throughout their entire lifecycle. A core part of the work involves collecting, organizing, and quality-assuring information about equipment and supplies. This might include documenting how equipment should be used, maintained, and handled to enable proper registration and maintenance planning. You'll work closely with project managers, technical specialists, and customers to build a comprehensive understanding of systems and ensure that the right information is available throughout the system's lifespan. The work includes registration/data management and information handling in Teamcenter, PMF, and other support systems. This is a role for someone who enjoys combining engineering, structure, and collaboration, and who wants to contribute to creating long-term sustainable solutions within the defense sector. You'll become part of the Aviation and Infrastructure team, which consists of approximately 40 engaged employees. The team has broad expertise and strong knowledge sharing. The position is based in Arboga, and travel will occur periodically. Who are you? We're looking for someone with a genuine technical interest who is driven to understand complex contexts and find sustainable solutions. You're comfortable diving into new areas and have an interest in how procurement, maintenance, and lifecycle management of equipment works within the Swedish Armed Forces. You have relevant technical education, such as a degree in engineering, or have built up equivalent competence through work experience. You're comfortable working with Microsoft tools and find it easy to learn new digital support systems. As a person, you're organized, responsible, and thorough. You have good collaboration skills and thrive with multiple points of contact, while being self-driven and confident in moving your work forward. It's advantageous if you have experience with Teamcenter, PMF, or similar support systems. If you've also completed training as a Registrar or Service Planner in Teamcenter, we see that as an extra advantage. However, lacking these qualifications is not an obstacle—we offer the training needed for you to develop and succeed in the role. A valid driver's license is required as travel may be necessary. You also have strong knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. We'd welcome experience from the Swedish Armed Forces, FMV, or the defense industry, but it's not a requirement. Since this position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you must pass and be approved for a security clearance with a background check. Selection will be done on a rolling basis.
