Announces a competition for the position of SENIOR PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
Position Purpose:
Responsible for supplying sub-units with material and technical resources (MTR), inventory, and services based on specific documents (orders, directives, requisitions, contracts, etc.). Ensures timely receipt of supplied material and technical resources (MTR) and handover of purchased delivery notes. Conduct market research, develop technical specifications for MTR procurements, and monitor their implementation in procurement procedures.
Main Duties of the Position:
· Ensure quality supply of sub-units with material and technical resources and inventory in accordance with regulatory requirements, requests, and procurement plans;
· Conduct market research, develop technical specifications for MTR procurements, and monitor their implementation in procurement procedures;
· Perform the duties of the responsible procurement officer;
· Conduct MTR purchases using the e-Procurement System (EIS);
· Participate in the development of internal regulatory acts and documents as needed.
Requirements for Candidates:
Professional higher or higher education of the first level in a relevant field;
At least 3 years of experience in a position related to document management, procurement, and implementation of procurement procedures;
Excellent knowledge of Latvian language;
Skills in document preparation and formatting (User level MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
Good organizational and communication skills;
Desirable skills in working with DVS Namejs;
High sense of responsibility, ability to work independently and in a team;
Ability to take responsibility for the results of professional activities;
Category B driving license (Category C also desirable).
Important:
To perform this position, you will need to obtain a special permit to access state secrets in accordance with sections 9, second and third paragraphs of the Law "On State Secrets."
Salary: gross 1654-1797 EUR
