About the Job Do you want to help create meaningful leisure time and good conditions for a vibrant association life in Lidköping? We are now seeking an engaged sports facility maintenance manager for the facilities management unit. As a sports facility maintenance manager, you are an important part of ensuring that our sports facilities function well and are attractive, safe, and welcoming for associations, athletes, and visitors. Together with your colleagues, you create the best conditions for sports and recreational activities – from football fields and sports halls to ice rinks, ice stadiums, and Sparbanken Lidköping Arena. The facilities management unit is part of Culture and Leisure within the Education Sector. Together with Culture, Väner Museum, Music School, Leisure, and Youth in Lidköping, we work toward a rich and meaningful cultural and recreational life for Lidköping's residents. Work Tasks As a Sports Facility Maintenance Manager, you are part of a team that ensures our sports facilities are in such condition that our customers experience high quality and good service. This enables associations to have the best possible conditions for practicing their sport. The work is varied, and the position primarily includes operational work at sports facilities as well as maintaining good contact and excellent service to the associations and visitors who use the facilities. The work tasks consist largely of maintenance of sports halls, ice and football fields, as well as interior and exterior facility management at our facilities. Who Are You? You who are applying have education at least at upper secondary level in a vocational program within technology or crafts, or other experience deemed equivalent. You are practically minded and have experience operating and handling machinery. We assume that you have some computer skills. It is meritorious if you have education in facility management or similar, or if you have experience working with refrigeration, plumbing, ventilation, electrical systems, or technical controls. Experience operating ice machines and lawn mowers is also meritorious. A Class B driver's license is required, and it is meritorious if you also have a BE driver's license. We seek someone with a positive and engaged attitude. You have good communication skills and the ability to provide high-level service. You are safety-conscious, responsible, and can work independently as well as in a team. It is positive if you have an interest in sports and understanding of association life. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Other Information Working hours are scheduled with shifts distributed across day, evening, and weekend shifts. Operations run seven days a week. Selection and interviews may take place continuously during the application period.
